This was our second year of running a rather laid-back, multi-species, 2-day tournament on Lakes Menomin and Tainter.  The format we use in this tournament is fishing the 1^st day on Lake Menomin and the 2^nd day on Lake Tainter.  This is a 2-man team tournament, with a $50 team entry for the 2-day event.  The tournament limit each day is a 1 person daily bag limit of Bass, Walleye and Northern Pike/Musky.  Four points per pound are awarded Bass, four points per pound are awarded Walleye and one point per pound are awarded Northern Pike and Musky.  The winners are determined by the total number of points accumulated over the 2-day event.  Live bait is permitted.  The tournament field this year consisted of 20 teams.  The host site on Lake Menomin was Point Comfort Park and on Lake Tainter it was Elk Point Resort.  Payback for this event was 100% of the entries plus Big Bass each day.  First place paid $400, second paid $300, third paid $200, and fourth paid $100.  Big Bass on Menomin paid $100 and $100 on Tainter.  On Lake Menomin the 20 teams brought to the scales 69 Bass, 12 Walleyes and 70 Northern Pike.  On Lake Tainter the 20 teams brought in 43 Bass, 11 Walleyes and 21 Northern Pike.  Please take a moment to view the winners and the other photos associated with this event.  If you are interested in participating in 2007, please e-mail me at billybass@wwt.net so we can get you on the e-mail list and keep you informed of what is happening for 2007.
