The day
started out misty for this 4th
and final qualifying tournament in the
Bear’s Series of tournaments. The full
41-team field managed to bring 123 Bass,
weighing a total of 257.93 pounds to the
scale. It was a tough day by Chetek Chain
standards. First Place honors went to the
team of George Sigsworth and Greg Tilton
with a winning weight of 15.72 pounds. Big
Bass honors went to the 2nd Place team of
Dave Hermann and Cliff Hermann with a 5.85
pound monster. Along with their 2nd Place
monies, they netted $840 for their efforts.
Congratulations goes out to the Top
Team-2007 of Pat Schlapper and Rob Yule
They will be receiving 2 St Croix Rods and
will fish the Bear’s Series in 2008 for
free.
