weather was beautiful at the start of the
fourth qualifying tournament in the Bill’s
Series. The skies remained cloudy and the
temperatures comfortable throughout the
tournament hours.
Fishing
was great on this tournament day. Thirty
two teams brought 137 Bass to the scale,
weighing 318.23 pounds. Twenty six of the
thirty two teams had 5-fish limits. First
Place honors went to the team of Dennis
Rhead and Chad Maves with a winning weight
of 15.68 pounds. This weight was good
enough to win the anglers a $1200 check for
their efforts. Big Bass of the tournament
went to the 4th place team of
Dave Doty and Troy Ostby with a 4.17 pound
largemouth, worth $320. Combined with their
4th place monies, they took home
