Beautiful weather greeted the 34 teams at the gorgeous Tagalong Golf and Resort on the shores of Red Cedar Lake.  The weather was sunny, light winds and temperatures in the upper 60’s.  This would change by weigh-in time with skis turning cloudy and light rain.  The Smallies this lake is known for were in a pre-spawn mood and on the prowl.  The 34 teams managed to weigh in 154 Bass weighing a whopping 401.64 pounds, another WTC record.  First place honors went to the team of Robby Newhouse and Mike Anselmo with a 5-fish bag of 16.94 pounds.  This bag earned them a check for $1400.  Big Bass honors went to the team of Tyler Liska and Mitch Engels with a 4.67 Smallie.  This Bass also helped them capture 4th place overall and a total earnings of $765.  Tyler and Mitch are new to WTC this year and tournament day was their first time on Red Cedar Lake.

Red Cedar Standings

Tagalong Golf and Resort on the shores of Red Cedar Lake is a must see. They have neat little bar down by the water called the pump house. They also have plenty of boat parking at their dock system.
