The
competition day was sunny with a breeze of
25 miles per hour, with gusts up to 40.
Conditions were tough, especially after the
severe front that went through the night
before. Overall, the size of the bass
brought to the scales was small, much the
same as when the Bear’s Series was here 3
weeks ago
The 30
teams brought a total of 103 bass to the
scales, weighing a total of 195.42 pounds.
Twelve teams caught their 5-bass limit.
First place honors went to the team of Steve
Kordosky and Dan Winslow, with a 13.28 pound
limit. This was good enough to take home an
$1200 check. In addition, their bag
included Big Bass of the tournament, 4.08
pounds. This bass was worth an additional
$300.
The race
for Top Team is really shaping-up to be an
exciting race, with 2 tournaments left.
Also, 25 teams locked-in a trip to Wisconsin
Bass Classic-2008, by just showing up at the
last 2 tournaments.

Next
tournament in the Bill’s Series is July 26th
on the Mississippi River-Pool 4. Host site
is Evert’s Resort in Hager City.
