The competitors were greeted with overcast, almost foggy, conditions.  As always, Bev had a grand selection of pastries and coffee.  The 38 teams brought 148 bass to the scales weighing a total of 349.67 pounds.  There were 24, 5-fish limits.  First Place honors went to the team of Scott Pellegrin and Garrett Vorce, with a 5-fish bag weighing 18.73 pounds.  This was good for $1000.  They were also in a Skeeter boat so they will receive another $500, for a total of $1500. Second Place went to the team of Pat Schlapper and Rob Yule with a 5-fish limit weighing 15.65 pounds.  This finish was worth $700.  The team of Ryan Anderegg and Ryan Olson took Third Place with a bag weighing 14.09 pounds.  This earned them $500 for their efforts.  Big Bass, worth $370, went to the 1st Place team, with the big bass weighing 4.87 pounds.

WTC sponsors, Buzz’s Bar&Grill and Gunderson’s Meats, both located in Mondovi, WI, provide a $50 gift certificate from each place to the first “Team out of the Money”.  That team must be present at the awards ceremony to receive the certificates.  If not present, it goes to the next team out of the money.  Winners of the $100 in certificates were Scott Wilhelm and Rick Wilhelm.

The team of Pat Schlapper and Rob Yule took the year-end Top Team Award.  The Top Team will receive St. Croix Avid rods of their choice, plus the team receives free entry into the qualifiers in the Series of their choice in 2011.

You can view all the results of the tournament in the results section of the Bill’s Series.

Our next stop is the Wisconsin Bass Classic-2010 in Minocqua, September 9 thru 11, 2010.
