The day
greeted the competitors with cloudy skies,
calm winds and temperatures in the upper
50’s. Thirty-one teams entered this Open
Series tournament. Seventy-seven Bass were
registered at the scale totaling 180.85
pounds.
First place
honors went to the team of Rob Yule and Pat
Schlapper with a team limit of 5 bass
totaling 15.91 pounds. This finish was
worth $700. Second Place went to the team
of Dave Hermann Jr. and Cliff Hermann with 5
bass weighing 14.90 pounds. This was worth
$550. Third Place went to the team of Scott
Wilhelm and Wade Rickey. They weighed in
13.85 pounds worth $400. Big Bass honors
went to the team of Dewey Nelson and Gregg
Kizewski with Gregg’s bass weighing 4.65
pounds. Big Bass was worth $300.
