Southern Ultimate Tour Challenge-2012
NBAA Weekend Series (Blue Bracket)

The Southern Ultimate Tour Challenge consists of 4 bass tournaments.  These tournaments qualify for participation in the year-end tournament, the Wisconsin Bass Classic, NBAA Fall Classic and NBAA National Championship-Blue Bracket.  These are 2-man team tournaments.  The entry fee for each of the 4 tournaments is $150.00 per team.  There is also an optional Big Bass pot, which is $10.00 per team. 100% of the Big Bass pot at each tournament will be paid at the ramp.  20% of the entry fees received at each tournament will go into the Wisconsin Bass Classic-2012 pot, to be paid to the Top 3 finishers in the Championship Bracket at the Classic.  More specific information on the structure and paybacks at the Classic are explained in the Wisconsin Bass Classic-2012 section of this website.

Each participant in any of these tournaments must have an annual WTC/NBAA membership, which allows them to participate in any WTC event for 2012, plus take advantage of any discounts offered by WTC and NBAA sponsors.  An annual individual membership is $20 which includes membership into WTC and NBAA.  An annual family membership is $30, which includes 2 memberships in WTC and NBAA, and covers fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, brothers and sisters.  The membership fees can be submitted along with the first entry form.  Membership fees can not be post-dated.

In addition to the monies paid at each tournament, every team participating in a Southern Ultimate Tour Challenge tournament will receive points.  These points will determine Divisional Top Team honors, boat positions at the Wisconsin Bass Classic, NBAA Fall Classic and the NBAA National Championship.  The National Points Champion is a total of all points earned in NBAA tournaments.  Members will be eligible for the Super Big Bass drawings.

The point system is based on the number of boats per tournament, and all participating teams will earn points.  10 points will be added to the number of boats participating, for the total number of points available.  For example, in a 40 boat tournament, first place would receive 50 points, second place would receive 49 points, third place would receive 48 points and so on.  Those teams not catching a fish will be awarded 10 points less than the lowest placing team.  Points will be used to determine Divisional Top Team of the Year, first day boat position at the Wisconsin Bass Classic-2012, the NBAA Fall Classic, the NBAA National tournament, and National Point Champion.

Teams in the Southern Ultimate Tour Challenge who fish all 4 tournaments within the Division will qualify for Wisconsin Bass Classic-2012.

The team earning the most points, after 4 tournaments, will receive Top Team-2012 in this Division.  Top Team honors include a personalized St Croix Avid rod for each member, plus the Top Team will be able to fish all the qualifying tournaments in the Southern Division in 2013 for free.

An individual may fish alone at the first tournament they enter, on behalf of the team, but must declare who their partner will be.  An individual may fish 1 tournament lone in a Division, and accumulate points on behalf of that team, providing they fish at least 1 event together.   Each team is allowed 2 substitutions during the year, providing the other original does not fish that event, and points will stay with the original team.  Points can not be transferred between teams.  Points accumulated in a Division will remain in that Division

Specific rules applying to Wisconsin Team Circuit tournaments can be seen in the WTC Entry Form section of this website and the NBAA website at www.nbaa-bass.com.

This website will be updated after each event with pictures and results from each tournament.  Also, be sure to check out the Sponsor Links section of this site.
